Work History

In 1975, Newvan Resources Ltd. completed a program of geological mapping and soil sampling on the area as the IN and HO claims. In 1976 and 1977, Rio Tinto Exploration Canada Inc. completed programs of geochemical sampling, geological mapping, test pitting and ground magnetic and induced polarization surveys on the area as the HO, IN and Spring claims.

In 2017, Straightup Resources Inc. completed a program of geochemical (rock and soil) sampling on the area as the Hi-Mars property. Two samples (No. 61 and 62) from a roadside outcrop yielded 0.419 and 0.168 per cent copper with 0.082 and 0.160 per cent molybdenum, respectively, whereas three samples (No. 58 through 60) of roadbed material and their origin pit, located approximately 200 metres northwest of the previous samples, yielded from 0.130 to 0.771 per cent copper with 0.067 to 0.138 per cent molybdenum (Straightup Resources Inc. [2018-06-24]: Technical Report, Hi-Mars Mineral Property, Southwest British Columbia, Canada). Also at this time, a float sample (No. 39), taken several hundred metres southwest of the previous samples yielded 2.81 per cent copper and 0.186 per cent molybdenum (Straightup Resources Inc. [2018-06-24]: Technical Report, Hi-Mars Mineral Property, Southwest British Columbia, Canada).
